Delete your account
Katuka is published by CruVal LLC. You can delete your account yourself, from inside the app, and it happens immediately.
Delete your account from the app
- Open Katuka and sign in.
- Tap your avatar in the top bar to open Profile.
- Go to the Account tab.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete my account.
- Confirm. Your account and your data are erased right away, and you are signed out.
Before deleting, you can tap Export my data on that same screen to download everything Katuka holds about you as a file.
If you no longer have the app
Write to support@katuka.app from the email address you signed up with, asking for your account to be deleted. We delete it and reply to confirm, normally within a few days and never more than 30 days.
What gets deleted
Everything tied to your account is erased permanently and cannot be recovered:
- Your account and sign-in credentials
- Your profile: name, email, age, height, weight, goal, health conditions and dietary preferences
- Every meal you logged, with its photos and nutrition breakdown
- Your weight history and body measurements
- Your workout logs and your generated plan
- Activity read from Apple Health or Health Connect, if you ever connected it
What is kept, and for how long
- Payment records — Katuka deletes its own record of your payments together with your account. Apple or Google, which process the payment, and RevenueCat, which validates it, keep their own records of the transaction under their own policies. Those records hold the purchase, not your health data. Your card details never reach Katuka.
- Your subscription itself is managed by the app store, not by Katuka. Deleting your account does not cancel it — cancel it in the App Store or Google Play, or you will keep being charged.
- Backups — copies may persist in encrypted database backups for up to 30 days, after which they are overwritten.
Deleting only part of your data
You do not have to delete your whole account to remove information. Inside the app you can delete any individual meal you logged, and any weight reading from your measurement history. You can also withdraw your AI consent at any time from Profile > Account, which stops your data being sent for analysis.
